TAA40104 - TAE40110 upgrade course

In many cases, prospective AIWD participants are looking to upgrade their TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification to the new TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This can be an easy process via a simple RPL Assessment Process or via the AIWD's Correspondence / Self-paced TAE40110 Upgrade Course. 

TAA40104 - TAE40110 Upgrade Course (via RPL)                                           

Simple RPL Process - for participants who are able to demonstrate they're using their TAA skills in a VET Sector environment and at only $195, it is great value for money!!

TAA40104 - TAE40110 Upgrade Course (via Correspondence / Self Paced Delivery) 

Participants who are UNABLE to demonstrate they've been using their TAA skills in a VET Sector environment will need to undergo gap-training to demonstrate TAE competence and currency of their training and assessment skills. The cost for this upgrade is only $340.

BSZ40198 - TAE40110 upgrade

If you've been using your training & assessment skills on an ongoing basis since gaining your BSZ40198 qualification and are looking to upgrade to TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, you should consider either an RPL Assessment Process or the AIWD's BSZ40198 - TAE40110 Upgrade Course. At only $600 for RPL or $650 for our fully supported, self-paced program, once again, the AIWD is able to offer great value for money!!

If you haven't been using your training and assessment skills since gaining your BSZ40198, the AIWD recommends you complete the full TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - please refer to our TAE40110 page for details of the full TAE40110 course.

secondary school teacher fast track program

Something to consider as a university trained secondary school teacher is that many of the units within the TAE40110 require evidence of specific application to the VET Sector environment (i.e. understanding of competency based assessment principles, use of Training Packages, etc), so RPL is not always automatic / possible (i.e. unless you have taught VET in schools).

In saying this, the AIWD acknowledges that an experienced secondary school teacher should receive some recognition for their university qualification / experience and as such, we have developed a TAE40110 Secondary School Teacher Fast Track Program. This program costs only $650, allowing currently registered secondary school teachers the opportunity to gain some recognition towards the full TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
